fertility awareness education no hands-on reflexology given
why learn fertility awareness education?
Have you ever wanted to learn to understand your own fertility and not be reliant on apps and fertility tools that give you generalised information and not YOUR information?
Fertility Awareness Education helps individuals and couples understand their body’s natural fertility signs to make empowered choices about family planning. These personalised sessions guide clients in recognising patterns in their cycle, supporting them to achieve or avoid pregnancy with confidence.
More than just family planning, Fertility Awareness Education offers insight into overall reproductive wellness. By understanding hormonal balance and menstrual health, you can feel prepared as you move through life stages—from menstruation to perimenopause and menopause. Knowing what’s happening with your cycle brings reassurance, making reproductive health feel less daunting and more manageable.
How a Session Works?
Fertility awareness sessions are customised to fit each person’s needs, within a friendly and supportive structure.
Initial Consultation
Your first session is a relaxed 2 hour chat about your health history, your hormone health, your menstrual cycle history and any concerns you may want to discuss. You will be introduced to the basics of fertility awareness, helping you get started with understanding your cycle.
This initial session will focus on learning how to track signs of fertility, like changes in your cycle, physical signs, and even lifestyle factors. You will be given information about how to learn Basal Body Temperature (BBT) charting and how to use your phone apps to make tracking simple and straightforward.
Your sessions will include:
Comprehensive personal case history for you
Review of your hormone history
Individual assessment of any current medical tests
Learn how to Basal Body Temperature Chart and the importance of understanding your fertility window.
Learning how to interpret and understand your cervical mucus pattern.
Understanding your menstrual bleed cycle
Understanding the cervix and its role in your fertile window
Set up BBT app for ongoing daily cycle review.
Awareness of Fertility Awareness Methods and how to interpret.
Ongoing support
Follow up sessions
Many women benefit from a few additional follow-up sessions to receive continued support, interpretation help, and troubleshooting. Ideally, these are spaced over several months, allowing clients to gain confidence with ongoing guidance.
Follow up sessions can be tailored to work within a 30-60 min time frame and I would suggest that you consider a minimum of 2 or 3 additional sessions spaced monthly to give you the opportunity to understand and read your own unique monthly cycle patterns. This will allow you to gain confidence in your ability to interpret what is happening and you find yourself easily and naturally include this knowledge in your monthly routines.
At follow up sessions we may look at:
Stress and the impact on hormones and fertility
Lifestyle factors and their impacts
Emotional responses and their impacts
Sleep factors and their impacts
Endocrine disruptor and the impact on hormones and fertility
Exercise and the possible impacts of too much or too little exercise
Additional Guidance
After completing the initial sessions, some clients prefer to have occasional check-ins or single sessions as needed. This is ideal for clients with specific goals such as managing cycle changes such as changing patterns as you move into perimenopause patterns, addressing new reproductive health questions or you may be considering that you would like to prepare for a baby.
Building Confidence
All Fertility Awareness Education sessions are about collaboration and support, empowering you to feel confident and at ease with your body and your fertility/hormone health choices. This flexible structure allows clients to progress at their own pace with options for ongoing support based on their own unique journey.
You do not have to want to have a baby to undertake these sessions.
Please note: These sessions do not include any hands-on reflexology making them a great choice if you prefer not to have your feet touched. The program is focused entirely on understanding and tracking your cycle in a comfortable, educational setting.
